you’re in Toronto for July and August, and you have all the free time you want.

What are you going to see at The Forum?

I saw the Gipsy Kings back in the day. They were great and a fun show. I'd go see them again. B.B. King, Dr. John and Little Feat would be great too.

The cool thing about The Forum BEFORE the Molson sponsorship was that the concerts were included with an admission ticket to Ontario Place, and if you showed up after 5pm, admission was 5 bucks.

My friend and I saw B.B. King on a whim. One of the best concert memories of my life.

The Forum was concert in the round and the stage rotated during the show. So, there was never a bad seat.

Then they tore it down and built an amphitheatre. It’s great, but a totally different vibe.

Violent Femmes
Phish
Jimmie Vaughan
Jeff Buckley
Little Richard
Everly Brothers
Sarah McLachlan
BB King, Dr John, Little Feat

I would also travel to either Cayuga Speedway, Markham Fairgrounds, or Capital City Speedway, to catch a live show by The Tragically Hip.

I'd have to go for Don McLean and Al Stewart for firsties. Little Richard for sure. After that Sarah McLaughlin, Indigo Girls, and Sheryl Crow.

Carol and I saw B.B King with Dr. John and Little Feat that summer in Baltimore. I remember it was the week Jerry Garcia died, maybe the day he died. We went to two concerts that week and I can't remember which was on that day.

Part of me would like to say I saw Phish before they became whatever you want to say they are... cult-ish following or whatever....

.... but honest answer in 1995 and I'm looking at those listings, I'm already in line to see the Violent Femmes. :helper:
