CME Run of the Classic Vibe Bass VI in Purple Metallic, with matching headstock. They did a run of these last year and the purple sold out first and I wasn't going to buy Antigua. :embarrassed:
 
Hey, stranger! How's it going? Nice Bass VI. I almost bought one of those. I decided on a regular 6 string bass instead.

I don't play as much outside of studio hours anymore, most of my free time is spent painting. Did some work on a friend's album last year that was recorded with 30" Gretsch Baritones but that rekindled my desire to get a Bass VI. I've been keeping an eye out for a used one, but then I saw that these were back up for pre-order and I couldn't resist.

If they had one of those in production right now, I'd have considered it, reminds me of a Jazz Bass I used to own. Looks like the only non SE colors are Black and 3TB currently. Do you still have the stock pickups or did you swap them out at all? Luigi bought one of the Gretsch 30" baritones and routed out the mini humbuckers for a Bareknuckle in the bridge and a Sustaniac in the neck, plus he added an arcade killswitch like the one on my McFeely. I'm probably going to keep mine in it's regular tuning for now, but I was also thinking about taking New Standard Tuning and adapting for the lower register, just to make it a COMPLETELY different beast to play.

I will check with the fam, but being that it's Easter weekend it's probably not going to work. :cop:

Mine is still stock. I haven’t even changed the strings in 10 years.
