I put them on a paper plate and put it in the fridge hoping it would re-constitute and I could tear off pieces.

Unfortunately, they’ve gone through some kind of structural transmogrification.

On the contrary..... Albanese Sour Candy is the absolute best gummy candy (not that any kind of gummy candy can be considered healthy and arguably might not even qualify as food, but I digress).

First time I ever had them it was at O'Hare airport and they were so good that I started searching if they were available in any stores near me. Found out that they're actually made in Indiana and have become more popular in the midwest than Harribo and catching up with Sour Patch kids. :baimun:

I worry deeply about the state of mind of a man who, upon returning to a hot car and finding a disgusting globule of melted gummy bears, immediately thinks this is worth trying to salvage. Just buy another bag, brother.

I learned that lesson. It would seem that the hotter those get, the harder they turn when they cool back down.
Or they just decide to leak out their contents into your cupholder.
 
In gummy candy related news, I got some vegan gummies from a big box store yesterday and didn’t pay attention because they were some kind of low sugar diet candy made of some undigestible compound for “no guilt” snacking. UNPLEASANT SIDE EFFECTS. Would not recommend.

I’m very fond of these as well.

Not sacred, but less problematic than international air travel. And, as a bonus, the cases are perfect for cheap guitar pics.
