Meh. I liked the moments where it felt like knights exploring haunted castles and other ruins. A lot of it was profoundly silly. The comedy didn’t work. Less of a fiasco than the Last Jedi, but also less interesting and less oddly satisfying than that mess.

They blew it with the setup for this trilogy. Rey and Ren should have been competing scavengers/archeologists/space Dr Joneses/Jedi or Sith wannabes trying to outsmart each other for the whole trilogy. Lots of reason then for all the history business and over the course of the films they could have gotten more into being goodies/baddies and taking sides. Blah blah. If the OG trilogy is space Sword in the Stone, this trilogy should have been space Grail Quest. They tried to go space Modred but gave up.

JJ Abrams should have his eyes put out and one hand lopped off for crimes against fan service.

Hollywood really should hire me to generate half-baked ideas for movies.

I hope Luke becomes the dark and evil Emperor, like in the Timothy Zahn books.

I wish I didn't agree with you, but I do. I even liked Solo! This, on the other hand, was a disorganized mess.
I won't go quite that far. I enjoyed it for what it was, and parts of it I really did enjoy. But seems like it could have been so much better. And unfortunately, it had even more of that Disney feel to it. Even in how they did the music at times it seemed to me. *sigh*
