Friday Top: 25 Best YouTube Guitarists

I wouldn't put Pete Thorn on the list because I don't think of his as a Youtube guitarist. He is a very successful studio and touring guitar player who happens to make youtube videos.
He's also the most viewed pedal reviewer on Youtube.

Paul Davids is my absolute favorite on that list. I'm glad he was ranked highly. His stuff is super easy to follow and very useful. I enjoy his clever video tricks when he talks to himself as well.
I like Stevie T. He's an absolute shredder and goof ball hilarious. It can be overwhelming though.
Rabea is awesome.
Davie504 is a fantastic bass player. I see him as the bass counterpart to Stevie T.
Ola Englund makes me laugh but I'm not interested in most of what he plays.
Andy Martin is Andy Martin. No qualms there.
Jared Dines I used to like but he rehashes a lot of stuff now and it gets old. He is pretty damn funny though.

The rest I mostly haven't heard of or just don't care for.

Interesting. With the exception of Andy, I don't really care for any of those guys.

The people I find helpful and useful are:

1. That Pedal Show

2. JHS

3. Justin Guitar

4. Wampler

5. Andy Martin

6. Peter Horne

Not a Paul David's fan at least? I find his stuff to be perfectly suited for me and my learning style.

I find him goofy, and the weird shit he does like cutting guitars in half bugs me. I don't know why. I don't think Justin Guitar was on the list.

Fuck, I almost forgot about Tim Pierce. When I need to figure something out fast I look for a Tim Pierce video first, then Justin Guitar. Speaking of Justin, his Rut Buster series with Lee Anderton is just fantastic.

I haven't seen him cut any guitars in half. He is a bit goofy but he has a quiet demeanor I jive with. The accent helps too for some reason. Ok fine, there's a bit of a man crush there. Sue me. [emoji2369][emoji16][emoji23]

Honestly, I was introduced to his gear demos first and then found out he toured with Chris Cornell and Melissa Etheridge. All I knew is that his tone was amazing and he could make a fart in a cardboard box sound like heaven.

Yup, Stevie T is great in very limited doses... amazing technique but he's like Robin Williams on speed.

I've actually gotten a lot out of Carl Brown's videos.

Andy Martin is great too.

Edit: Justin isn't on the list but I like his vids as well, very good teacher and funny without being obnoxious.

You've got a bit of a mix-up happening there Rev. You're thinking of Darrell Braun, he does parts reviews, mods and weird shit like cutting up guitars.
Paul Davids is the Dutch bloke, he does lessons and things like that. He's a good one to watch for the non-metal stuff.

And yeah, Tim is brilliant.

You’re correct. The guy I was thinking about is American.
