I don't know. Are there any snowflakes here?hey, did this thread get any snowflakes offended yet? yuk, yuk.
I certainly enjoying shooting as a new hobby, and like guitars having one type of gun just don’t seem enough. I still don’t feel the need to carry a gun, don’t know if I ever will. I don’t mind the thought of tighter restrictions but as a law abiding citizen I would not tolerate being denied access to my free speech rights and I don’t see how the second amendment rights are any less important then the first. Certainly we all ( as citizens, I certainly don’t want to detract from other topics on here ) should be able to have a civil conversation about these matters. I really don’t feel the NRA speaks for me, I certainly disagree with much of their narrative today.

deer hunting??Lol. I have a TC contender with a 14 inch 45-70 bbl. It is painful to shoot and gave me ‘flinch’ that took a while to shake. It is a great gun for handgun deer season, but it was never fun to shoot
My favorite rifle in my Ruger M77 in 7mm Magnum.
The round is flat shooting, and if I can see it,I can hit it.
I would like a .270.
My target shooting is done outdoors.
Targets are normally gallon milk jugs filled with water and food coloring.
are you going to hand load for the Marlin?I don’t know if this thread needs an update, but I just got back from the range shooting a couple new rifles I acquired...
A Marlin 1894 in 44 magnum I plan to take deer hunting this year
And my newest ( and most fun) a Chinese SKS type 56 rifle in 7.62 x 39
are you going to hand load for the Marlin?
you can do A LOT better than boxed pistol loads.
Hornady makes a wicked .44 300 grain bullet.
