Bobs burger for me. About a year or so ago I watched the first four seasons on Hulu which was all they had at the time and then I quit Hulu. I thought Bobs had ended and 4 seasons was it. Then last week I decided to check fox (because i wanted to start watching the Simpsons again after viewing"best ofs" on youtube...I hadn't watched the Simpsons since the early 2000's) So Bobs Burgers suprised me that it was still on and now in it's 7th season from a quick wiki search. I love that show!
I go through binges with Family Guy :getsjudgedbyflamencology: at times I find it unbearable and at other times it is absolutely hilarious. Stewie annoys me but Brian the dog is cool and the son Chris is the star of the show imho, also Quagmire and the wheelchair cop are pretty good.

I am very surprised that Family Guy is not enjoyed more. I like it because I often think of jokes that I can't actually say in daily situations but on Family Guy they do say them.

The episode in which Peter gets a prostate exam is one of my favs.

There is another one in which Chris gets pulled through a display in a grocery store aisle by a black and white hand into the Take On Me video by A-ha.

I can watch the episodes again and again. The first season is a little off but by season 3 it starts really coming into its own.

Family Guy just beats the same jokes to death.

I've never seen bobs burgers so I can't comment on that. But I do like Family Guy, but yes, they do beat the jokes to death. The Simpsons, in its prime is easily one of the best all time shows.

I don't know any edgy pot smoking ADHD teenage douchebags.

My choice over all of these is Robot Chicken but it wasn't on the list and now I am a rule breaking 'not on the list' mentioner.

This is how I picture @smorgdonkey now.

Bob's Burgers is fantastic, especially the more musical episodes. But it's really hard to beat Season 3-10 of The Simpsons.

Bob's Burgers is currently often quite good. The Simpsons are hit and miss these days, but can still get in some good ones.

Seth McFarland frequently pisses me off. He is capable of really great stuff (e.g. the "Blue Harvest" Star Wars parodies) but all too often gets lost in the morass of going for the easy, sick joke. Also, I think Family Guy often crosses the line into a misogynistic direction I find quite distasteful. I haven't watched it for years, because the good stuff seemed to get more and more scarce.

I am of the opinion that those jokes are there because people generally think that most people don't think that way and the joke is that it is a ridiculous way to think yet "hello, many people still think that way". Same with racism and insensitivity to handicaps and, and, and...

Look who TF got elected in the USA... and it was supposed to be a way to battle against the machine...? Elect a product of the machine and he will handle things to take care of the every man? Come on...it was because there are a bunch of people who were pissed off that a black guy was President for 8 years and they would be damned if there would be a woman in there next. Family Guy is actually a looking glass into the darkness of society. Well, that woven in around a silly show.

All that said, I still get how some people don't enjoy it.
