True, but I don't think he's necessarily being piggish hear. I equate it with hearing a new tune for the first time from an artist with whom one is unfamiliar. If it's good enough, you can't just have the one tune, you've got to hear the album and then the other album and other projects...at least emotionally.

Now I'm listening to this. Always liked KT and this is arguably Henley's only worthwhile post-Eagles tune. Just a great song.

Don Henley is a world-class tool, but I'll give credit where it's due: That song is bulletproof. It's wistful, aching, melancholic, and lovely, regardless of who covers it. It's one of those songs you can't possibly fuck up.
I like to think Mike Campbell was responsible for the lion's share of writing that song. I have no idea if that's true or not, but Henley just annoys me so that's the story I tell myself.

Recording basic tracks for the first full lengther with Wasted next weekend, ran through all of the songs and recorded them last weekend.
Definitely not the last time I do it this way with my bands. Nice way of catching potential issues before recording seriously.

I am in Boise for the weekend. Stopped at the Boise Record Exchange, and looked through used CD's. Found me some Miles Davis I didn't have, and 2 CD's from these guys, pre-grunge heroes of my youth.
