I hear you. I eat meat when I go out to eat, but I don't make it at home often because Catherine doesn't eat it. Of course, that's just because she doesn't like it...but I understand the whole inconvenience of having stuff taking up fridge space when only one person will eat it.

When Michael Jackson died. I posted a hotlink to a photochop pic that was of slightly questionable taste. I asserted the fact that I was simply posting in disgust over how quickly people took the low road.

JJ flipped the fuck out, called me all kinds of names and told me how much of an insensitive prick I was for linking the pic.

I apologized to him PUBLICLY and in PM, and then sent a PM to Strings asking him to please remove the thread because in the wrong context, it could be taken as being insensitive.

So I guess what's good for the goose is not so good for the gander. What a fuckin' low life hypocrite.

I am so sick of his bullshit.

Since I've already had one big fiasco this week maybe we can play this a little cooler. I've met Oscar in person, I really like him and I think that making the transition to life over here where the atmosphere is different than GJ can be a bit tricky when its all the same people. I'd like him to be comfortable as a regular here if he is so inclined as long as everyone can get along....

everybody supported the living in sin part. especially since we moved in together with every intention of getting engaged. and now that we're engaged to be married, its a non-issue.

space in the fridge isn't an issue. contaminating a pot, dish, or pan is though. i don't think any amount of scrubbing would make it go away either. but i'm not dying to make something traife, so its a non-issue.

You know, I wonder how his editor would feel about finding out that JJ makes public forum posts about what douchebags the people he's interviewing for their magazine are because they don't kiss his ass.

For a so-called "journalist", he is wreckless and irresponsible. I guess it's a good thing that rag only has a circulation of 34,000.

I'm guessing that as long as he does his job and contributes to the bottom line, it matters very little to them. I believe he's a freelancer, so he doesn't necessarily "represent the company" in a way that he can hurt their image in the way that matters to them.

And if you wrote for a living and knew what a pain in the ass it is to drag information out of people so that you can do your job, you'd know where he's coming from when he blows off a little steam.

That's right -- I'm giving Jammity the benefit of the doubt here.

Jimmy James doesn't show up at the Burger World/Pet Store/Rocket Ship Factory and tell you how to do your job!

Actually, I Do.

That's the funny thing. I don't talk about my accomplishments on these forums, and I try to maintain my anonymity as much as possible.

Having said that (or "written" that...), I can tell you that I published my first novel at 24, I've written several since and have been published in dozens upon dozens of magazines, newspapers and very well known web sites.

Aside from having found success in the music Industry, I have made a wonderful living by the written word. enough to not ever have to work another day in my life if I so choose.

It is because of this, that I take such great offense to how JJ throws these people under the bus like he does.
