welcome to "ask Help!I'maRock!"

No, Stratocaster is a registered trademark of the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. It is, however, a middle pickup failboat.

Thank you for clarifying, I always lower that pickup down as far as possible so it doesn't really exist on my guitars. Only because it gets in the way of my pick though, rather than tonal considerations.

I suggest working with Mark on your picking technique.

As a side note, I listened to the actual track "Help, I'm a Rock!" last night. Genius! As tracks that are more like psychic meltdowns than actual music go, it might be my favorite.

My question is this - my old vinyl copy of Freak Out sounds awful. And my newer CD version is the one FZ added new bass and drum tracks to, which I hate. So is there a version out there I can buy today that is 100% original recording? Can be CD or vinyl.

Troll some record shows. You're bound to find either the pre-remaster Ryko version on cd or actual original vinyl.

I also admit I've only ever heard the remastered version.

Lastly, it's all actual music. :embarrassed:

HIAR, is it true that you wrote for David Letterman's "Ask Larry Bud Melman" segment? The parallels in this thread are strikingly similar.

No, I don't watch late night tv. Unless you count extra innings as late night tv.

What fate befell the HC members who did not escape to the safety of MWGL forums?

Will the Mets crush the NL in 2016? What surprises will we likely see from them in the Hot Stove season? Zobrist, yea or nae?
(this will be your only soft pitches so enjoy!)

Mets are the #1 target just like the Nats were last year. And like last year, they should contend.

The biggest surprise so far has been Duaty Baker to the Nats. I think Zobrist gets paid by the Royals or the Cubs. Hot Stove surprise: Ken Rosenthal and Jon Heyman commit ritual suicide.
