Your tenure at mwgl and/or hc

I was active in alt.guitar.tabs in 1993-4. This later became The OLGA tab ftp site, and eventually the website that hosted HC. I guess I was around HC in or around 96-97 when it first started. I don't remember the actual date, and it could have been closer to 98, but I remember the posts on OLGA about it starting and I signed up right around the first few months it was running.

I joined HC(GJ) in 2003 (don't remember what month) I believe, I might've lurked for about a year but I'm gonna say 2003 so that's 14 or 13 years...I'm gonna call it as 14 years
 
Gotta be close to 15 for me too. HC totally screwed up my account one the last 27 times they changed and updated things. But I joined HC in the early 2000s and Mark after HC went to shit.

Every about the MWGL forums is better than HC ever was. We are clearly superior.
 
I'm a member there (HC) but very seldom visit...same with rig-talk.
I've been a member here for about a year now....

same here. Only reason I can remember apx is because where I was living when I started posting, so I can pinpoint it to about a two year period.
 
I was cruising OLGA and then HC back in 98/99/00, a lot, but not sure when I first signed up for the forums. Don't even remember what my first account was over there.
 
I have no idea how I remembered my HC login info. Looks like I joined there 3/28/2001.

I had just gotten to college from a very small town with very limited internet (even for the time). As my job was opening one of the many computer labs on campus at 4:embarrassed:0 am, I had a lot of surf time under my belt. Almost nobody was awake, which meant I had the T-1 to myself :lol:
