Question: Would you be more likely to buy something at a gifts/trinkets shop called Gradgrind's or Geetengad's

I like the name 'Gradgrind', because Dickens used it for one of the main characters in Hard Times. As a trinket store namesake he's really unsuitable though. He would hate trinkets, all he was interested in was cold, hard facts.

Might I suggest another Dickensian character, from the more suited The Old Curiosity Shop?

Gradgrind from Hard Times was def the name inspiration. i am glad a least one other person on here has read a damn book in their life.
 
I'm totally a last-minute decision maker too, so I get the rush you're feeling with that looming deadline. Anyway, imagine this – personalized figurines with your face on them! How cool is that? They make these adorable customized figurines, and I'm seriously considering getting one for myself.
Those are super cool. I just purchased a @DdBob, a @Peen Simmons, and a Smurfco. I'll let you know if they work.
