I have a roundneck resonator but I bought an extension nut for my old flattop and am learning Dobro licks on it. I too am now GASing for a laptop/squareneck.

Have you been listening to anything with Jerry Douglas lately? That always makes me want to acquire and learn to do something worth a damn on a Dobro/National or more accurately an affordable facsimile thereof. Then I remember that I need to just get better at playing regular guitar first.
