I burnt my damn oatmeal...steel cut oatmeal. I've always wondered "how the fuck do people manage to burn oatmeal....not rocket science, ya put the pan on you boil the water and then you add the oats and turn the heat down...simple" well I did it but in my defense I blame the internet and MWGF specifically. I was posting and I got sidetracked.
Still not sure how dudes back in the 1950's managed to burn their oatmeal , i always thought perhaps it was an urban legend or something in the order of those old dudes not want to admit they could actually cook cuz you know....that's a womans job and all idn_smilie That generation was kinda funny about those types of things.
Anyway it's done and I did it, I'm not proud but now I know it is possible :(
