Welcome to the MWGL School of Music! This is our new venture into music instruction that is more involved than the free video lessons on the front page of the site but not as much of a time commitment or expense as Skype lessons or lessons "in person" at our brick and mortar music school Premier Music in Orange, Ca.
The basic concept behind this "school" is that we have lessons available to you on a subscription basis. Our instructors have recorded video lesson "Modules" with sheet music, backing tracks and other materials that you can access for 30 days at a time. Each Module is a private forum here at MWGLforums that contains 4-8 lessons. As you work on the lessons during the subscription period you are able to ask questions of the instructor or submit clips, video or scans of your progress for feedback or assistance on the lesson material.
Each lesson module will appear as a subforum here in the MWGL School of Music forum after you have paid for the module in your "Settings" control panel: http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/usercp.php - obviously you will need to register for the forum if you have not done so already.
Currently Payments are only accepted via PayPal although you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express cards through the PayPal payment gateway.
As of this posting lessons in production include my Foundations for Guitar series (adapted from my book Foundations for Guitar Book 1 and Tom Harkenriders series of lessons on Jump Blues comping and soloing. Besides lessons from the guitar instructors at Premier Music we will also have instruction from many of the other members of our staff for Drums, Bass, Voice, Music Theory, Electronic Music Production and other topics!
