No where near sell out crowd... but the stadium holds almost 11,000 people.

Afterwards I head over to my buddie’s gig across town…

…. but the bartender doesn’t get my food order in, the bar closes, and we were “forced” to go to Bar Louis for late night dinner. Then came a half dozen beers or so… stayed out too late and had to be up to leave for a mid day gig at a lake an hour away.

Was fine until the third hour of the show. Sweaty, dehydrated, and my fretting hand started cramping up. Pulled my guitar in close and tilted it upright to keep my wrist as straight as possible. Cowboy chords and bar chords, finished the gig.

We went for a boat ride and spotted the boat ramp by a lake bar that we played the grand opening of 13 years ago!

We are arranged on the ramp to make us the same height…. Typically our bass player comes up to my shoulder. :lmbo:

Sunday was late father’s day visit with my wife, kids, and their significant others. That should have been enough for one weekend… right? Right?

Get a work call… the primary switch for one of our offices is down… affects about 1500 people in 4 locations. I drive in and we troubleshoot to no avail… finally I unbox and rack two brand new Cisco switches. Another engineer in Michigan is remoted into my laptop with a hot spot while I rerout port by port all 96 patch cables from the old switch stack to the new one. It was close to 2 am when ai finally got to sleep. :annoyed:

Saturday - cut out the plumbing for the pool solar panels. Put the ladder in the pool. It’s still not close to a decent temperature. It might be good this coming week. We’re supposed to see stupid hot temps here.

Sunday - 5-hour cruise in the NewYorker. By myself. And the radio doesn’t really work. It was awesome.

Sat. - Took a bunch of outdated music gear to a used music store. Dude took it off my hands, and I got a few bucks out of the deal. I was happy because I just wanted it all out of my garage. Went out to dinner with some folks we hadn't seen in a while. Great evening, pretty damn good food, and perfect old fashioneds.
Sun. - Got up reasonably early and drove about an hour into the hills. Did a bunch of hiking and a little exploring of the area--looks like it'll be a regular addition to our weekend hiking spots. Spent the afternoon helping Walt Jr. with cover letters and binging some British whodunit. Then we watched the season finale of From--bleah!

Continued training for an upcoming century ride. Got in 6 out of 7 days this week in spite of the expected rain (which mostly didn't come except on Friday). Nothing tried to kill me at all this week so a bonus. Was supposed to get a new bike but it seems to be MIA hopefully tomorrow. I was hoping to get a couple of hundred miles on it before the century to make sure there are no breaking in issues.
