I haven't decided if I like it or not. Some examples look cool and others just look like the spray tip was clogged.

I'm not crazy about the grain, but I like that color. They make a 335 deluxe in Pelham that I really love.

Love it. Saw an Epi Firebird with this finish and it was HAWT

thats what I thought it was when I first saw it, except those Epis have no clear coat. Those are cool though I might get the SG one. Cheap too.

I like the pelhams that have greened over time. Some are just a subtle green hue, some are straight up green.
I think the clear coat yellows over time and yellow + blue=green

here is my pelham blueburst I designed

here is a cool one where the clear coat has worn away bringing it back to blue in those areas

to achieve this today you need a clear coat with no UV blockers like Minwax clear nitro, and then time, like decades of time.

The TV pelham blue (and the silver, for that matter) on the Epis looks awful IMO. Looks like Testors' model paint under thick clear gloss. I would think if they did a satin version of it, though, it would look a lot better.
