Last Arthur Treachers around here only closed in the last cycle of years, but I hadn't been there in decades.

Roys was the undisputed king in the DC area until Hardees rebrande them all. Still my favorite fast burger, whichbis why hitthem up whenever I'm in Alexandria or Leesburg. They do booming business at the remainibg ones anyway.

I find it hard to believe anyone frequented a Roy Rogers in the last 40 years because of his name. Less than 10% of people born after the mid-1950's ever even saw him on film/video.

A big selling point for Roy Rogers restaurant was the name recognition. (It couldn't have been the food; the food sucked.) And when was the last time you saw an Arthur Treacher's?

The Arthur Treachers in Fairfax Circle just closed about a year ago. That thing was there before I was born.

And for the record, Roy's is the best fast food restaurant
