The Bicycle / Biking Gear Thread

Maybe I should have been running a dropper post. My last ride 11 weeks ago this Friday had me grade 3 separating my shoulder. I haven't been doing many activities.
I do plan on doing some smooth rides this weekend. I've been riding the recumbent stationary bike 6 days a week.

There is a recumbent bike shop a couple neighborhoods over. I only ever see the really old dudes riding them but I've always wanted to try one. Hope you heal up fast!

Real recumbent
They seem much less visible on the road. They don't seem too agile either. You give up your leg suspension too. I would try one where there are no cars.
We used to have a guy who would ride his unicycle on the mountain bike trails. It was pretty amazing. Thought I would throw that out there.

That's certainly (IMO) an issue with recumbents even with the flags they usually have. And they are much heavier so hills are going to be a workout and a half. And there are lots of hills around here. But if you have balance or back issues I can see why someone might want one. Like ebikes if it gets you out and gets some exercise you otherwise wouldn't get I think it's positive (note ebikes to me are electric bikes that you MUST pedal in order to make go, if you don't need to do that it's an electric motorcycle). I usually see one or two recumbents a day on longer weekend rides and not always old guys (a least not old to me )
