Don't look at me bro. When I aquire new music it is either via Bandcamp or iTunes. I don't buy rawk merchandise and I don't attend shows nor do I spotify...I'm pretty much off grid in the audience/ecosystem

I have no interest in Ms. Swift's "music", but this is just another business practice that some folks will buy into.
When the Police reunited I was committed to seeing them. Joining their fan club for a year @ $100 bucks provided access to a presale and they threw in a poster. The poster is still in the tube, but I'm okay with as it was the Police and they are one of my favorite bands. Further they were amazing, so I not only don't regret the extra spend, I'd do it again. As such, I can't give Swift fans a hard time for doing what it takes to increase their odds of seeing her, but to my ears it's the difference between listening to some of the best pop/world rock ever created by an amazing band of remarkably talented/skilled musicians/writers/arrangers and...well...Taylor Swift.
