Super Cheap Software Deal!!!

This is really tempting. Is Sound Forge a full blown DAW, or is it tilted more towards editing/mastering?
 
Purchased. I don't have any software of any kind so this will be fun to learn/play with.

The included version of Samplitude (Music Studio) is the "light" version of Samplitude Pro X, which I've been using for ages.
Btw, the new CoreFX plugins that come with Samplitude/Sound Forge are really really good - and you can use them with any DAW. The 2 point compressor is brilliant, I often use that one.
