Strat Plus and Deluxe

Mine is the sunburst Deluxe. The CAR Strat Plus is a friend of mines. Just amazing Strats the both of them. :thu:

Any other Strat Plus folks out there?

I remember the older Strat Plus with the metal nut. A buddy of mine had the Tele version of that one, with the Lace Humbucker in the bridge.
 
the turquois one (on the left) i bought new in 1994 was a Strat Plus Deluxe (see the bridge), but it didn't take me long to decide i didn't really like the Lace sensors, so i swapped them out for a set of O.C. Duff hand wound pups, and i didn't like the pearl pick guard, so swapped that, then i didn't like the roller nut, so i went with a bone nut, then i didn't like the Spertzels so i swapped some vintage style tuners, and i've been thinking i should just put a vintage style bridge on it and finish the darn thing. :facepalm:

FYI - I have the same Kustom Defender 5(H) amp. Best $100 I ever spent.
 
I don't have a pic handy but I bought one new back in high school, blue burst with maple board, LSR nut, and three Gold Lace pickups. It's such a great strat.
