It worked out well.... he did janitorial work but the hot water didn't work.


They would bless a bucket of cold water...he'd stick his hand in... and then scrub the floors with the boiling result.


It was better than sandblasting with acid.

yeah, I was the caretaker for a United Church in Winnipeg for about 4 years.
pretty good job.

they actually hold punk & metal gigs there now.
didn't when I worked there, but one of the older chaps on the House Council is a big metalhead.
and a minister.

great guy, too.

a lot of the time I had the place to myself, so I spent a lot of drunk time there.
even some times when we had functions going on.

I remember one night the Wpg Boys Choir had a show, and I was right fuckin' plastered...
dancing around in the back of the room as the kids sang Hakuna Matata...
