Howie wasn't using his Metro 20 anymore so he kindly gifted it to me... I love my big board but it is BIG. this one still sounds great and is very versatile but it is nice and smol. Can't wait to take it to some kind of jam or something

Your board does exactly what I think proper sideways pedals should do... puts the inputs/outputs in optimal locations, and allows better access to some of the buttons instead of poking a toe between pedals. :baimun:

Expandora? Are you playing ZZ Top covers now?

Julia? What do you have against Boss chorus?

Joshua? Why do you hate Boss Delay?

:thu:

Yes, yes, and yes!

Julia and Joshua are dating :embarrassed:

The Boss DD-8 and Dimension C have been promoted to the Big Board :embarrassed:
Julia, passed over for promotion. Sexist BS! She should threaten a lawsuit over Joshua’s sexual harassment to leverage her way into the coveted spot.

Hey, have you continued to like the DD-8? I am trying to figure out what mass produced digital delay I want to stack with a slap back option to experiment with more spatial repeats. The DD-8 keeps coming up as a good option. I guess there is also the TC Flashback. And I would be stacking with either a Carbon Copy or a little Donner Wave someone gave me for slapback.

I liked the DD-8 but got rid of it for a DD-7 which I much prefer - it has much simpler way to switch between tap tempo divisions (on the DD8 you gotta do some weird hold-down-while-rebooting-power type thing or something) and I like the modulated delay sound better. I'd go with DD7.

But my main smaller digital delay (when I don't have a DD-20 or DD-200 on my board) is now the DD-3T. IF you don't need all the extra sounds on the DD7/8 I'd recommend that one. Super easy to dial in and sounds great. It only does the digital delay sound though.

Ok, good thoughts. I had considered the old DE7 also, just cuz I think they are cool, and a similar old digitech, and had thought about both those Boss pedals, the 3T and the 7. Will have to consider what I really want and decide between the 8, the 7 and the 3T. I watched JHS Josh demo a 3T today on YouTube on his delay summary vid. And now researching some more, I am leaning that way for ease of use and close enough in sound for portable and live, esp. stacked with a warm setting on the little Wave slapback. Simpler is better for me so I just f'ing use it.
