Some pedal steel bends for your Thursday

This popped up for me today. Some impressive playing on an instrumental cover of Mama Tried. I really need to learn some hybird picking. His pedal steel bends are next level.

It sounds more B bender than steel, but yes this is cool as hell. Now I want to know if anyone has ever put a b bender on an SG

I think the necks fell off of three SGs the minute you mentioned it. Doesn’t seem to me theres enough wood/real estate to accommodate the full b bender situation in the body. Maybe could work up something like this with the paddles on the bridge.

I have that certano do dad on a tele. It’s super fun.

I've been thinking of adding one to mine as well. Did you go with the G, B, or both? Was it a pretty easy install?
G and B. Very easy to install. The latest version of the certano doesn’t require any drilling. It’s as easy as swapping the bridge plate. You will want to fine tune the benders so they hit the exact right note when the bar is fully engaged. The guy I bought it from didn’t know that’s how it was supposed to be set up, which made it very difficult to play. A decent tuner is really helpful. A snark will do in a pinch.
