Cool Earl
Strato-Smasher
Larrivee D-03R (obviously, a rosewood/Sitka dreadnaught), bought new from Notable Guitars 2008; excellent condition (honest: no defects, scratches, cracks), with original case, truss rod tool, pamphlet, even the rosewood aroma and pick. Original Tusq saddle (included) was replaced with bone saddle by Jason prior to delivery. Never gigged. Always kept in non-smoking, humidity-controlled (40-48%) house. Don’t think I’ve even played it outdoors.
I really love this guitar. Sound is clear and very full: to my unsophisticated ear it is a ‘piano-like’ crisp and shimmery, not ‘boomy’, tone. Sounds great even with old strings (d’Addario phosphor/bronze lights). If you’ve heard a good D-03R you know what I mean.
Playability is excellent; set up by Jason and hasn’t needed any adjustment. Have been physically unable to play for a couple of years (have a small $29 Americana for messing) so, am bending to reality. Price: $700, plus shipping. No trades, no negotiation; thanks. Will accept personal or bank check. You will be pleased with this guitar.
