Jesus, how high's the action on that thing? You can see about 1/2 an inch of daylight between the low E and the fretboard at that angle.

yeah, i didnt realize it until i changed my strings today. i guess i got used to the high action or something.

its been 1000% better in pretty much every aspect of my playing.
its so much easier to do what i want on this guitar... long sustained chords. alot more tonal options.
today, i played with a group of guys i hadnt played with since i had my archtop, and they all commented on how different i sound.
my archtop, in a way, slowed my development in some ways. sometimes i would get discouraged, blah blah blah...
with this guitar, i cant complain. nothing to blame my difficulties on.
which is what i need!
now its time to start making some music. and ive DEFINITELY been playing alot more since i got this tele.
never again will i have to scare the audience with a random burst of deep feedback.

Thats very cool....have you tried a thinline type tele? That might also be cool for how you play....
It's always nice when you end up with an instrument that knocks down a roadblock or two that you didn't know were there because of the stupid instrument of all things.
