I think I first saw him in Excalibur (but I also remembering watching him in a video of a Hamlet production from around the same time). Loved Excalibur as kid, would watch it any time it came on...HBO was great as a kid, unedited or interrupted movies.

Anyway, next was Dune, the Star Trek NG, a bunch of stuff, Charles Xavier, and a bigger bunch of stuff. Can't remember any bad performances. That is not to say everything I watched in was great, but he always killed regardless of the quality of the project.

Yeah, but so many of these folks are getting an extra decade or more above life expectancy and they got to be famous actors (obviously at different levels).

Patrick and Walter got to live the dream and provide us all with years of entertainment. Cheers to them.
