Photos in old threads not showing

I seem to remember something happening here with pictures, don't remember where I saw it, thought it was forum business, it's not.

They could have been lost when the forum switched platforms, from vBulletin to Xenforo.

I clicked one and it was hosted on Photobucket.

I think this is what happened. I have a bunch of old photos I uploaded here that are gone as well. Externally hosted pics seem fine.

Thanks. Now it makes sense that the oldest pics are showing. Yeah, I used to use Photobucket. Always took forever, when I learned I could host them here, never went back.

I seem to remember that one of our database "episodes" affected old pics too.
Rebuilding the indexes fixed most of them, though.

If it is just Photobucket, then problem identified.

Otherwise, I would need a specific post and pic to work with to try and track down any issues on the server and within xenforo.

No, Photobucket hosted pics are the only ones working.

Only pic hosted here that is working in this thread: http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/threads/before-sold.64894/page-2 is the one I posted this morning.

You may laugh but, it beats holding the router with your knee. If the leftover piece of wood was 2 inches wider, router would be turned 90 degrees. Still worked, hng over porch with a bucket of glue holding down the other end.
