I have the box
On my Prime live tv when watching local news I now get guitar pedal advertisements. Just about all the Joyo line. Thing is of the pedals I’ve gotten from Amazon, JHS, StewMac, TCE only joyo is advertised.

I've got a few Joyo pedals. They're not bad, especially, for the price. The Joyo Sweet Baby sounds nearly identical to my Mad Professor Sweet Honey. The Joyo US Dream sounds similar to my Suhr Riot, yet not identical.

Build quality is where the Joyo pedals fall off. None if them have failed, but I don't gig. The Joyo feel less robust.

I think all three of my pedal power supplies are Joyo and they work fine. I do get some noise out of a Digitech Freqout but given that everything else works fine I’m inclined to blame Digitech. And I’ve owned some of their cheap pedals. An Orange juice Orange amp emulator worked but I realized that I could just get the same sound from a Blackstar amp. The Ultimate Drive worked but I ended up selling it because I just don’t use overdrive. Extreme Metal sounded awful but that’s probably because I prefer to get high gain from my tube amps. After all, it’s a clone of the Metal Muff so if the sound sucks it’s EHX’s fault :). I have the Joyo 5.8 GHz wireless system. It tends to pick up noise. That might be due to being in a neighborhood where the houses are close togeher so there’s all kinds of interference.

From time to time we have 1–3 day power cuts because the power company doesn’t want high winds knocking power lines over and starting a wildfire. So I bought a Joyo Jam Buddy III desktop modeling amp to keep myself entertained. It sounds good for what it is. I did have trouble with an bug in their iOS app but I sent them an email and they responded in about four hours, which is pretty good given the time zone difference between Colorado and Shenzhen. They worked with me on reproducing the bug—actually going so far as to have me record of video of what I was doing and walk them through it. Not many software/hardware people actually care that much! They got the bug fixed in their next software update.

And I recently posted about my Zombie II amp. I like that one enough that I’m going to Guitar Center on Friday to pick up another 1x12 to use it with after the police hold expires.

So now that I think about it, I’ve owned more Joyo gear than any other company. Is it all great? No. But is it a way to scratch that buy-some-gear itch without spending lots of money? Sure.
