I've started migrating to the XS strings... they don't feel icky coated like Elixers, but they last longer than regular and don't get rusty/dirty like regular phosphor bronze do. :baimun:

That Steel Singer was a good deal until it got here.
With the charges from the freight forwarder, it worked out to $114.29 CDN.

When I ordered, that was still an okay price.

Now that it’s here, I see better prices. I can get it for $68 CDN through Uncle Jeff.

Maybe I’ll post it for sale for the 200+ that I saw before and see how it goes….

I saw a placentia guitar in a used shop last year, and the finishing was horrible. Sharp frets, not exactly rough neck, but a neck that felt less than finished, etc.
