I practically wore out Lucinda Williams, Sweet Old World, and Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, and I saw her a few times in the late 90s. But somewhere along the way (starting with Essence) she just lost me. Plus she's not a particularly engaging live performer.

what about that Guitarist though. His tone is beautiful and he plays for the song, he's just got that something or other.
