New Pedaltrain Day

I needs charts and diagrams.

The one I posted has only 3 ins. I actually need 4 for the Mesa.

Guitar into junction box. Run cable from other side to first pedal.
Take out from Pickle Drive to middle input, pedalboard side. Run cable to Mesa amp input.
Amp effects loop send to junction box. Cable to DE7.
Cable out from Zvex Channel 2 to junction box. Out to amp effects return.

If I’m using the Allen, I’ll jumper the loop outs.

That makes sense and may come in handy :embarrassed:

Yeah. It's one of those things that I want to do down the line. Because if I'm doing that, then I'm custom wiring the board instead of using a random collection of patch cables. So it'll come last, after I use HX Stomp for a while and figure out how I'm using its loops.

Did you already order the Stomp?

Not yet. Line6 expects to upgrade their pitchshifting significantly in the near future. I'll buy it after that upgrade, as it is replacing my Pitchfactor. And I have to sell my other pedals first anyway. So probably next spring.

The Truetone CS12 came in today. Got it mounted under the TZF and everything turns on. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to play through it though. The only change I expect is the Echorec is being powered by one of the 18v outs. It's the only pedal on my board that can handle a higher voltage. It'll be interesting to hear if it makes a difference, especially since I run it in buffered mode, so the preamp is always on.

The only absolutely silly connection I made was the Z-Vex Channel 2 is being run off of a 250mv output. I think it runs at 6mv, and that's because of the LED. I can't fit any more pedals on the board, so it'll be interesting to see where it gets moved to. Especially after I swap the Eventide for the HX Stomp. I think I'm due for another trip to GC to compare them side by side.

Skreddy says the Hybrid Fuzz Driver can run on 18v, so I moved it there. I can’t tell the difference with it, or the Echorec at 18v. I’m sure somebody hears it though.
