Haven't ever really gotten a good acoustic because I kind of acquired my dad's '64 J-50. And that's been the best sounding guitar I've ever heard, so no need for one. We'll, I don't take that guitar out anymore so I needed an acoustic, I picked up an Eastman that was really good, but I wanted the sound I got from the J-50.
I really liked a Gibson Songbird I got on a trade about 5 years ago, but sold for something I can't remember.
So my goal was to get another Songwriter. But as much as I have Reverb, this was good good of a deal on this J-45. Plus it has the adjustable bridge like the J-50 has, and I really like that feature. Anyway, it sounds phenomenal, and even better plugged in which I'm playing through a small bass amp which sounds way better than any acoustic amp I've heard. The seller changed out the original pickup for Seymour Duncan, he made a good choice.
