So true -- when I pick up my Musicmaster after having played any of my other guitars (save for my Godin Acousticaster -- which is hollow), it feels light as a feather!

Really. My Musicmaster body is bigger than my tele. They have a more narrow body, but they are longer.

Fender needs to do more Sherwood Green.

I'd be all over a MIM strat/tele if they did some killer colors like that.

^^^^^ This! In another thread, I was saying how much I liked the color combo / design choices by SX, and they're basically a cherry-picking of FMIC's most alluring stuff. But .... Fender won't do them any more. Unless you are silly enough to 'custom build' a guitar with them.

Sherwood Green Strats, Mustangs, Jazzmasters.
Shell Pink Jaguar, or Tele (with rosewood f/b!)
Lake Placid Blue everything (Jazzmaster!), with matching headstocks.
Tangerine Flake Strat or Mustang.
Shoreline Gold Strats and Jazzmasters every year.

Why won't they? Dunno. But .... grrrr ...
