New cheap expensive bass day

Horny bag of electric meat
Fernandes Tremor Deluxe. $55 out the door at a Chicago pawn shop. They retail for $700 new. I couldn't pass it up. This bass is one of the nicest I've ever played.

In the day of the internet where every retailer has sales histories or valuation at their fingertips, esplain how this works to me....I don't understand why this pawn shop would sell stuff so clearly under market value and leave money on the table.
Every pawn I've been in is usually not chock full of these bargains.

The only pawn shop I have in my area is selling used guitars with obvious wear for hundreds over new pricing.
