I really, really like my Marshall Origin 20. I've been running it through 2 1x12 VHT cabs, which honestly works fine - but I also wanted the "Marshall Stack" vibe. Also, as I'm looking for a band, I wanted 1 2x12 cab that still had reasonable weight for fewer trips rather than carrying 2 cabs. I still have the option of going 1x12 with the previous cabs as well. So, I went unto the Sweetwater website and snagged a Marshall Origin 212 vertical cab.
My initial impressions are quite favorable. At about 50 pounds, with good handles, I can easily carry it in one hand. It seems a lot of people don't like the 70/80 speakers - so far I like them well enough, but I did buy the cab with the knowledge that I might want to change them out later. They work at home practice volume...I haven't gotten a chance to really open it up yet. I've also heard that they require some break-in time, so they're going to stay in the cab for a couple months at the very lease.
For pure cosmetics, I freaking love the look. It looks like a little Marshall stack, and nothing looks more rock-n-roll to me than a Marshall stack.
