Nice to know that the muscle memory in my fingers is back. Went to a rehearsal tonight after not being able to pick up a guitar for two weeks and pretty much nailed it.

I was expecting the worst.

A few years back I stopped playing four almost 4 years and I started playing in jest again around 2007. Now I am playing in two bands and working it pretty hard.

I am really glad that my hands know what is right again and that my mind no longer has control. If that makes sense.
 
right on. It is crazy how muscle memory works. I got together with an old bass player a few months ago and he asked if I remembered any of our old songs. I told him I couldn't off the top of my head but as soon as he handed my the guitar, I started playing them. I had to play through them to give him the chords, it as pretty crazy.
