I hate to do it, but let's look at the jokes.

Tim Allen really did get arrested for dealing drugs in 1978 and was only released after snitching on other dealers. The joke is the absurdity him talking about it on his family sitcom that rebranded him as wholesome and conservative. Home Improvement was enough years later that the dealers were probably out of prison by then. It's not really like a random story with no joke. Joker at Disneyland is also the same basic formula of mashing up two incongruous things.

Babe Ruth... you're expecting him to being playing baseball, but he kills a huge baseball man in a one on one match-up. Misdirection is pretty standard in joke-telling so I don't think that has to be explained why it is different than a random story. At the very least it is told efficiently in just a few panels.

And yet, neither is even remotely humorous to anyone not immersed in FB meme culture.

This seems pretty random.

It's not referencing anything on facebook. Nor is the comic hosted there. It's not really being esoteric in any way whatsoever even if it was.

Facebook humor seems to be reusing stuff I saw on greeting cards in the 90s. Which doesn't appeal to me at all. Even if it is easy to get, I guess. And there is not really an in-group there because it has over 2 billion users. I would guess that some or most stuff posted here comes from facebook, but none of mine. Since I don't even have an account there.

Anyway, there is no need for these personal attacks every other page of this thread.

Dude keep posting. I don’t know where you are hanging out on the internet but you posting here saves me from asking and knowing where.

Your posts are funny to me at the same proportions as all the other posters combined.

Rock on!

Personal attack? Not hardly. If you took it that way, well....sorry. Just because I might not find certain things funny, doesn't mean it is an attack. I will however continue to post what I want when and where I want, without malice.

I also didn’t say it wasn’t funny nor that I didn’t get it.

I just said there isn’t really a punchline.
