one time on stage i kinda played 'the jazz' version of a lick, and i quickly grabbed my guitar cord and shook it, as if the bad notes came from it.
the rest of the band nearly train wrecked the song laughing.

edit: i didn't mean that i only played the 'jazz' version in a song one time. i meant that i shook my guitar cord as a joke only one time.

This reminds me of the time I played with a German friend who played flute. She said something like "you should start at this measure, right after I play this H note". Apparently the Germans have an H in place of B, and B is Bflat. :messedup:

Correct. We do in Norway as well. If the story is right, it apparently stems from a misprint in a German music theory book (that was subsequently translated and used in schools up here). It eventually stuck. :embarrassed:
