my bandmates have always had permission to walk over to my amp and turn me up!!
i'm always too quiet. i mean i can hear me, but no one else can. :lol:

We're always miced up. If one guy turns up that means you can't hear anyone else. And we generally use in-ears as well. I never touch my amp post-soundcheck - which is how it should be.

One of the guys I gig with regularly has historically been pretty bad about this. If it’s his gig and his name is on the bill, I don’t really care. I leave myself enough room to compete if I need to and to his credit, he will ask me to turn up.
