Effect can be used as a verb, as in to effect change. It means to initiate.
Fair enough, but that is much less common. In fact, that is probably only case where "effect" would be used as a verb, and if you wrote "affect" instead, most folks would not notice the difference. It would still be grammatically correct, although with some subtle difference in meaning (alter vs. initiate).

Your bass player has good taste in beer.

No he doesn't. The craft beer was all that was left at the end of the night. While we were setting up he said "You'll be happy Tony... they have all kinds of your weird beer."

He and the drummer prefer Busch light and Bud Light.

Throughout the event I had a good variety... Bells Two Hearted, VooDoo Ranger hazy, and half of a Modello before it got spilled :annoyed:

I just wanna know.... If big pickup trucks with billowing black smokestacks are legal to drive on the road, why is a hood mounted paintball machine gun not legal on mine?
that reminds me of the one routine george carlin would do about shooting suction cup darts at the cars driven by jerks.
when enough darts are stuck to a car, the cops pull them over just for being an asshole. :rotflmao:
