Cops in my area switched to SUVs right around the time their 9/11 checks cleared. State Troopers upgraded to Chargers or Challengers. Sheriff got tanks.

Around my area, only the watch sergeants are driving the SUVs - most of the cops are still in Crown Vics. I know that the CHPs have switched to Dodges, but don't know what the SCPD and SCC Sheriffs will be driving once they've destroyed their remaining Ford cruisers.
