Irrational GAS

beloved, local musician
Lately I have been jonsing for this:

Sells for $179, which is not too bad.

Of course, I have two other electrics that never get played...:embarrassed:

1) I don't like the finish on the G-400.
2) I'd rather spend $179 on a guitar I won't play than $319.
3) I'm hoping not to buy either, since I have no use for it.

GAS is a bitch.
I have no need for a Tele, but I can't get over the Gas for one.
Myy Epi 339 keeps saying it want's a friend,so the search will continue.

I've been looking at those too because I want something to put a pair of P90's in and I don't like the $129 Epip LP's that have them.

I agree on spending a little bit more on the G400 model. Don't get the bolt on low cost SG model. Upper end production Epis are nice guitars, but their cheap line is really pretty bad. I'm sure there are some great cheap ones, but most of what I have tried has been garbage.

I have a TV Silver 1966 G400 Pro that I never bonded with the neck on (a bit too wide-shallow for me). It has the splittable Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers on it and is in mint condition.

I'd be willing to let it go for a song+shipping.
