I'm not a fan of the pickguard and control panel/output jack. This wouldn't matter from a playability standpoint, just sayin'. I would de interested in playing one if I saw one in a store, but I haven't be to a music store that carries Ibanez guitars in years. Doing a direct comparison with a Classic Vibe Tele might be fun.

I started playing in the 80s. Every cheap POS guitar was red. Now I can dig a cherry SG but straight up red, no dice.

Andy Timmons played one when I saw him, but i don't think it was the low-end model. Sounded great. Very Tele-like.
On an unrelated note, if anyone knows Andy, tell him i was impressed with his lack of worry about the tangled guitar cord he kept stepping over, I want to be more like him.
