In his defense, it would look a little weird to have new-looking saddles on his artificially-aged multi-thousand-dollar strat.

The best way to age saddles, tuning pegs, pickguards, knobs, pickup rings etc is to soak them in a bowl of piss for a few weeks.

Younger?!? You still are!

Than YOU maybe. :poke:

I start performing around 6, back then mainly piano stuff, and as I got older I did a lot of choir and theater, plus school band and later rock bands. Pep band, drumline, church , benefits, any place my parents needed music, etc. It stopped being a lot of fun a long time ago.

Hey, I'm just having a bit of a laugh here right now.

I still find it to be fun though. :embarrassed:
The hawt chicks in the front row at our gigs doesn't exactly hurt either.

I should have a camera on stage next gig and get a few pics.

Not at all expecting to "make it" or stuff like that, but I still find great joy in playing our own songs in front of a couple of hundred couple, many of whom actually seem to dig those songs. :)

I get the joy out of writing the songs and recording them... I write them because they need to be written. Now I just need to find someone else to play them and pay me. :embarrassed:

i'll play them, as long as they don't suck. here's how it works:

1. my band plays your songs
2. you submit all of your songs that were played at our gigs to ASCAP
3. ASCAP pays you
