I have an idea for a new Charlie Brown Special.....

I figured I am in a minority on this topic. I didn't care for them the first time they ran and they did not improve for me with repeated showings. But then too I wasn't too impressed by much on TV on the 50s and early 60s, at least in terms of prime-time sit-coms and specials.

I thought you were speaking generally - how do you feel about the comic strip?

Also worth noting is that 'You're a Mean One, Mister Grinch' is definitely one of the best songs of the 60s.

Am I the only one who found those Peanuts cartoons highly erotic?

FIFY

I certainly do!

I'm okay with that.

No need to FIFY
no, you are not. :embarrassed:hmy:

I still think that the holiday specials, especially for Christmas and Halloween, are classics and I still enjoy them...but some of the feature length films and the non-holiday themed shows do not measure up to the classics...

Again, no need to FIFY

Also worth noting is that 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' is definitely one of the best spankfests of the 60s.

It goes along with being fed up because he can't afford healthcare. He will also be practicing hypocrisy while he collects disability since it is ok for him to collect but those lazy Franklins are just milking the taxpayers....at least that will be the basis for episode 3 of the series :thu:
For somebody on disability he plays an awful lot of football

The comic strip was okay, but has suffered from continual reruns since Charles Schulz died. The TV shows, however, just really turned me off. The Grinch cartoon was good, and that song was great.

I honestly don't see how anyone could possibly be so offended by the Peanuts. I think there might be some deeper issues going on here, perhaps an unfortunate misadventure with a dog in your early days or perhaps bad memories of Jazz or an older sister always nagging you? we are here for you if you want to talk gary :hmm:

I am not offended by the cartoon shows, I just felt they were annoying and not entertaining. I read the comic strip as a child and enjoyed it; it was much better read than enacted.

I was hoping for, "It's 420 With Snoop, Charlie Brown".

Of course they got it on - Marcie topped Pattie with a giant strap-on.

I have a feeling that I may regret this, but ... you have seen this, haven't you?

To be clear: that is NOT an 'OK' vid. However, I'm just saying there's a long and rich history of re-dubbed Peanuts specials on the internets.

Who knows, you could get rich and famous.
