I’m just about recovered from Labor Day Weekend.

Sucks getting old. I didn’t even drink and it still beat me up. Spent Fri and Sat evenings jamming at a campground at the lake and sweated my butt off. Sat on the way somebody pulled out in front of me and my little Crate VC took a tumble and didn’t work when I got there. Had to borrow a cheap old SS amp. Then the neck pickup on my Tele went out for some reason. Then on the way home had a tire picked up a nail and low on air drove 30 mi home and midnight w low pressure light on on back roads w no stations open. I gotta get me an emergency inflator stupid not to have one. Sunday aired up the tire and did my Grateful Dead practice from 11-2 the jammed at the Lodge from 3-6. Went home and crashed hard. Spent Monday just recuperating. Yesterday got my tire fixed.
Now I gotta take the Crate and the Tele to the tech tomorrow he’s closed on Wed.

Boy = do I know what you're talking about! Five years ago, I was able to ref four or five games on a Saturday and get up and do it again on Sunday. Now, I do one or two high school games on a day and I'm useless the next.

Gettin' old ain't for wimps. I'm battling sewage drain issues that happen when washing clothes and the kitchen sink backs up. I can't afford a plumber.

I bought a cheap plug-in inflator last year, and it has come in handy several times.

From recent experience, even the biggest handheld snakes aren't up to the task if the problem is in the main drain. However, if you're comfortable removing/replacing a toilet, you can rent a pro-sized motorized unit that should clear it up for a fraction of hiring a plumber. Once I watched our guy do it I was a little ashamed I hadn't just done that myself Next time
