Finished it up over the weekend. Ended up putting a pair of GFS pickups out of my parts drawer in it - Fat Body neck with nickel silver cover and Repro '60's Hot Alnico in the bridge.
Sounds killer! Still considering a replacement pickguard.

Huh -- I'm a bit surprised at what it looked like with the pickguard off. I guess I thought it was a well-aged arctic white (or something similar), because in my experience those tend to age to a cream color. Perhaps that doesn't work with the new polyester finishes?

Anyway -- awesome job. Whoever ends up with that should be very happy!
