The Reverends have Plastic Pickguards... just a heads up
(Though some of the bodies have a thin layer of metal over a laminate/wood.

Dak is a good guy, and a major contributor on the Reverend forum. If you want to know anything about USA Rev's he's your man. His site track sales price trends for USA Rev's, model history's and all kinds of useful info. He also worked with a couple of fiolks to put together a serial number database for all USA's. I am slightly embarrassed he had to correct me.

Cool! I'd love him to hang out then! I've just spent the morning cleaning up or seeing how the guys have dealt with other forum issues while I was gone and I'm happy that this is a real person that one of you already knows who has something on-topic to contribute

I've got a Teisco with a metal pickguard. The main thing that affects the tone is its being a Teisco, not the pickguard material.
I think I might need to own that guitar...
